The First Baptist Church of Lexington, 103 N. Main St., is sponsoring a clothes drive collection for the Displaced People of Ukraine. Each day the church is collecting GENTLY USED clothes, shoes, and socks for individuals who fled their homes with only what they could carry. First Baptist is also SEEKING VOLUNTEERS on Saturday 4/9/22 to help pack boxes. The truck will leave the church April 11, 2022 en route to Northern VA, where boxes will join others to be transported to Poland.
