United Way of Rockbridge takes a leadership role in improving the quality of life of the people in the Rockbridge area by assessing needs, raising and allocating funds, and ensuring the appropriate use of those resources by the community.
United Way of Rockbridge was incorporated in 1950 and has has grown from supporting a handful of agencies with a $20,000 fundraising goal to supporting more than 18 community organizations with nearly a quarter of a million dollar fundraising goal. Over the past 62 years, UWR has raised almost $4 million in funding for local organizations that serve people in our area.
